Pakistani Army's operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, nine terrorists killed in three districts

Rawalpindi, 22 September (HS). The Pakistani Army has killed nine terrorists by conducting separate intelligence-based operations in three districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. During this period, five others including the helpers of the terrorists have also been arrested.

Pakistan Army’s information wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said there was heavy firing between army personnel and terrorists at Jani Khel in Bannu district. During this period, six terrorists were killed and five people were arrested. Some of them are also said to be helpers of terrorists. According to the ICPR, these terrorists were involved in a number of activities against security forces, including a motorcycle suicide attack on a military convoy in Jani Khel on August 31, which killed nine soldiers.

Similarly, two terrorists were killed in a fierce encounter between security forces and terrorists in Datta Khel in North Waziristan district. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists. Currently, investigation is being done due to the possibility of more terrorists hiding in this area. A joint search operation was conducted by security forces, counter-terrorism department and Dera police in Madi area of ​​Kalachi tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan district. During this, unknown terrorists opened fire on the security forces, in retaliation one terrorist was killed. After the firing from both sides stopped for a long time, during a search of the area, the body of Ikramullah Sukna Kalachi, the local commander of Gandapur group of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, was found.
