Pakistan’s friend Turki to another big shock, India will end with Turkish Airlines
The Turki, who openly supported Pakistan, has suffered another major injury to India on Friday. The partnership of Indian airline company IndiGo and Turki airline Turkish Airline is going to end. Following the latest DGCA decision, IndiGo and Turkish Airlines partnership will end on August 31, 2025. Let us tell you that under this partnership, IndiGo operates a direct flight to Istanbul with two Boeing 777 aircraft taken on lease from Turkish Airlines. IndiGo operates 14-14 flights every week from India to India from Turkas and Turkas. Both these aircrafts taken on lease have more than 500-500 seats.
What DGCA did in partnership of Indigo and Turkish Airlines
IndiGo was currently ending the aircraft lease on 31 May. IndiGo requested DGCA to extend the lease for 6 months. However, instead of finishing the partnership of both airline companies on 31 May, the DGCA increased it to 3 months to 31 August. The DGCA has decided to extend the lease for 3 months, so that the flight does not cause sudden disruption, causing huge inconvenience to the passengers.
The Turkas are facing the punishment of which ‘crime’
The Turkish Airlines under the dump lease is offering aircraft, pilot and maintenance, while other members of the crew are from Indigo. Sources told PTI that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has also directed IndiGo not to ask for any expansion in the lease again. Let us tell you that earlier the security approval of Turki company Celibi Airport Services India Private Limited was canceled. The Turkas openly supported Pakistan during the Operation Sindoor of India, which started in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, resulting in this decision.
