Dir al-Balah (Gaza Strip): 73 Palestinians have died due to fire on people waiting for relief in Gaza. Gaza’s Health Ministry has said that those killed in Gaza Strip on Sunday were waiting for relief material at various places. Meanwhile, the Israeli army opened fire.
Most of the deaths occurred in Northern Gaza, where the Zikim crossing led to firing on the Palestinians trying to get relief. At the same time, more than 150 people have been injured in this incident, in which the condition of many is said to be critical.
Israel did not respond to eyewitness claims
Some eyewitnesses have claimed that Israeli soldiers fired on the crowd. But it has not been officially clear whether these people died in the action of the Israeli army or by an armed gang or in joint firing of both. No official comments have been made by the Israeli army so far.
