The Lokayukta team that arrived from Jabalpur has raided the house of Bamhani Panchayat Secretary Manoj Yadav of Samnapur Janpad Panchayat located in Dindori, MP. In the raid conducted around 5 am in the morning, jewelery and land documents worth lakhs of rupees were found from the house of Secretary Manoj Yadav. Officials say that investigation is still going on.

In this regard, officials of the Lokayukta team said that complaints of disproportionate assets were being received against Gram Panchayat Secretary Manoj Yadav posted in village Jada Tunnel. Due to which the Lokayukta team that arrived from Jabalpur this morning raided. As soon as the news of the arrival of the Lokayukta team was heard, many people of the village gathered outside the Secretary’s house, among whom various kinds of discussions took place. However, the Lokayukta team did not allow anyone to go inside or outside the house. It is noteworthy that Village Panchayat Secretary Manoj, father of Dal Chand Yadav, resident of Bamhani, posted in Jada Tunnel, was posted as Panchayat worker in the year 2005, at that time Manoj’s salary was Rs 1250. After this, Gram Panchayat Fitari was posted on transfer. Again in 2014, on transfer, Dami was posted in Titrahi Gram Panchayat. Posted in Jada Surang Gram Panchayat since 2018. At present the pay scale is Rs 30 thousand 300. Including allowances, he is getting a salary of Rs 44 thousand 488 every month. Secretary Manoj Yadav’s wife’s name is Sangeeta Yadav, son Lakshya Yadav and daughter Soumya Yadav. It is reported that after becoming a Panchayat worker, Manoj Yadav has purchased a large amount of land in the surrounding villages. Along with this, a luxurious house has been built in approximately 2 thousand square feet. Officials of the Lokayukta team investigating the case say that after receiving a complaint regarding disproportionate assets, an investigation has been conducted in the house of Secretary Manoj Yadav in Bamhani village. About 6 land registries have been recovered. Which has been purchased under different names. Which is about 15 acres, apart from this, information about jewelery worth four lakh rupees, goods worth five lakh rupees and four bank accounts has been found. Which is being investigated.
