Pandals will get free electricity for Ganesh Utsav and Navratri in this state

The Telangana government has announced free electricity to the pandals during Ganesh Chaturthi and Durga Navratri celebrations this year. This initiative will run for 11 days for Ganesh Chaturthi this year and 9 days for Durga Navratri celebrations.

Under this scheme, the government will not take electricity bills used in pandals for 11 days of Ganesh Chaturthi and 9 days of Durga Navratri.

Let me tell you that the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayak Chavithi, started with devotion and enthusiasm in the entire state on Wednesday. Millions of idols of Lord Ganesha were installed in the villages and cities of the state including Hyderabad. On this auspicious occasion, despite the rains in Telangana and neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh, a large number of people came to visit the temples and also worshiped Ganpati idols in their homes.

‘World Peace Mahashakti Ganapati’ in Khairatabad

The Khairatabad pandal of Hyderabad remains the biggest attraction in the state this year. A huge 69 -foot statue has been installed here. The organizers said that this idol is named ‘Vishwa Shanti Mahashakti Ganapati’, which aims to wish peace and prosperity all over the world.

The government and the police have made extensive security arrangements for the smooth operation of Ganeshotsav. The idols will be immersed on the last day of the celebration. In Hyderabad, thousands of idols will be immersed in Hussain Sagar Lake and other ponds and lakes. (input language)
