Panic of stray dogs, attacked elderly people for walking, died after being taken to hospital

An elderly man died after an alleged attack by a herd of dogs in Kodigahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The deceased has been identified as 70 -year -old Sitappa. According to his family, he came out of the house for a walk due to lack of sleep around midnight. Meanwhile, a herd of at least 8 stray dogs allegedly attacked him. Sitappa suffered serious injuries on his arms, legs and face and some parts of his body were torn in the attack. Hearing the sound of screaming and screaming outside the house, when his family members ran, they saw that a herd of dogs had attacked Sitappa. After this, when Sitappa was rushed to the hospital in an injured condition, where doctors declared him dead.

After this incident, Kodigahalli police have registered a case and started investigating the case. In this case, an unnatural death report ie UDR has been registered by the police. The police is currently investigating CCTV footage and is interrogating people to know the whole incident. Explain that this is not the first incident of stray dogs attacking anyone. A few weeks ago, a three -year -old girl was attacked by stray dogs in Shimla Nagar, Old Hubli, Karnataka. In fact, a girl going towards a shop in Hubli-Dharwar Municipal Corporation area was attacked by a group of dogs. In the CCTV footage of the attack, dogs were seen cutting their shoulders, back, legs and hands and dragging her on the ground. The girl was seriously injured in this attack, who was taken to KIMS Hospital for treatment.
Case reached Supreme Court too
Let me tell you that earlier in the national capital, a six -year -old girl died due to rabies due to the bite of a stray dog in Rohini’s Puth Kalan in the national capital. Locals claimed on Monday that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) started catching dogs from the roads only when the Supreme Court took suo motu cognizance of the incident. Earlier in the day, a bench of the Supreme Court had highlighted that hundreds of dog bites are reported every day in Delhi and its outskirts, which often rabies and makes children and elderly people the most vulnerable.
