A shocking incident has come to light from Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research (Vimsar) located in Sambalpur district of Odisha. A young man undergoing treatment here tried to commit suicide twice. For the first time, he tried to lose his life by cutting his throat at his house. When he reached the hospital, he also tried to commit suicide here. His life was saved due to the vigilance of the hospital staff and the people present.
What is the whole matter?
According to the information, 29 -year -old Subir Sardar, a resident of Bhatigaon in Bargarh district, had cut his throat with a sharp thing on Tuesday night. In critical condition, he was first admitted to Bargarh District Headquarters Hospital. But when his condition deteriorated, he was referred to Vimsar for better treatment in the early hours of Wednesday.
On reaching Vimsar, Subir was given first aid in the casualty ward. The doctors, considering his injury as serious, sent him to the ENT department and fixed the operation’s time at 11:30 am on Wednesday. Subir was asked to wait outside the Operation Theater, but during this time he left from there without telling anyone.
Attempted suicide for the second time
After exiting the hospital, he reached the roof of the ENT department building and attempted suicide by jumping from there. He jumped down from the first floor, but the hospital staff and others took immediate action and rescued him.
After this incident, Subir has again been admitted to the casualty ward and is under the supervision of doctors. According to officials, Subir’s mental state does not look right, due to which he is taking such dangerous steps again and again. At the moment, his condition is critical, but under control and his treatment continues.
