Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate the much awaited Mithapur-Mahuli elevated road on Monday. With the commissioning of this road, the traffic will become more smooth and faster for millions of people living in the southern parts of Patna. Now hours of jam-filled journey can be completed in minutes, which will not only save time, as well as the journey will be relieved. The project prepared at a cost of Rs 1,400 crore has been developed at a cost of Rs 1,400 crore. The project includes the construction of elevated and at-grade roads from Bhupathipur to Punpun (NH-22). Elevated road has been constructed to reduce the burden on roads and to ensure sharp traffic flows. This important project will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha will be involved as special guests at the ceremony. The program will be chaired by the state’s Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen. Apart from this, many Lok Sabha and Assembly MPs and Legislative Council members have also been invited to the program, including Ravi Shankar Prasad, Misa Bharti, Gopal Ravidas, Arun Kumar Sinha, Ravindra Prasad Singh, Neeraj Kumar, Naval Kishore Yadav and Karthik Kumar. The biggest benefit of Jeevarakhamithapur Elevated Road will be available for South Patna. This road will play an important role in connecting districts like Jehanabad, Arwal, Biharsharif and Gaya with the capital. Earlier, where it used to take hours on these routes, now the same journey will be completed in minutes. Especially the office going employees, school-college students and businessmen will get a big benefit. Fast-1 Complete, fast work on Phase-2 is divided into two phases: Phase-1: Phase-1: There is an elevated section from Sipara to Mahuli, which is now fully ready. Fage-2: Fage-2: Fage-2: Fage-2: It is constructing 2.10 km long alleviations from Siprapur to Sipara. A target has been set to be completed. Apart from this, a 2.20 km long forelane road from Mahuli to Punpun is also being built, which will make the long distance journey smooth and accessible. Now the journey will be easy and the distance from Tejipara to Mahuli can now be completed in just 5 to 6 minutes. For this, a special ramp has been constructed near Bhupathipur, so that the vehicles will be able to board the elevated road directly. Earlier, there was a huge jam on this route daily, which not only was wasted of time, but also increased fuel consumption and pollution. The commissioning of this project would not only reduce traffic load, but will also provide relief from environmental perspectives. Better construction and planning of the road will be more modern and convenient in the coming years.
