Actually, this case is of the night of 23 July. Junior engineer Sachin Gowda asked for water after eating food. Peon Siba Narayan Nayak, working in the office, brought him water in a steel bottle.
As soon as Sachin drank some sips, he felt a strange taste. Suddenly he started getting restless. He immediately asked two other employees of the office, dense and the sun to taste the water. Both also confirmed disturbances in smell and taste, which further deepened. The biggest thing is that the junior engineer on July 22. Had joined the RWSS office in Udayagiri.
Lab confirmed urination after investigation
The sample of this suspicious thing was sent for investigation. The initial report of the lab confirmed 2.0 ppm ammonia, which reflects the possibility of presence of urination. Now the sample has been sent to the high -level investigation laboratory at Parlakemundi for firm results. After the incident, Sachin Gowda’s health deteriorated. He is currently undergoing treatment at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Barhampur.
Peon refused allegations
Arrested peon Siba Narayan Nayak has denied the allegations. He said, “I gave a bottle with food. What happened after that, I do not know. I did not do anything wrong. I leave everything to God. On the complaint of Sachin Gowda, R. Udayagiri police arrested Siba Narayan Nayak.
Department also started investigation
The case has now reached the Odisha Water Resources Directorate. The department has also started investigating the case.
