‘People do not believe in voter list’, Rahul Gandhi raised questions again on Election Commission
Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has once again questioned the voter list by putting the Election Commission in the dock. In a press conference, he said that the people do not trust the voter list, fake voters were added to it. He said this, citing the election results of Maharashtra and Haryana.
Foundation of Vote Constitution
Rahul Gandhi said that the foundation of the Constitution is the vote. In such a situation, you have to think whether the right people are being allowed to vote? Was fake voters added to the voter list. He alleged that elections were stolen in Maharashtra. We are 4 million voters mysterious in Maharashtra. The Election Commission should respond to the voter list. He said that the Election Commission should explain that the voter list is correct or wrong? He said why the Election Commission does not provide electronic data? We repeatedly sought data from the commission but they did not give us. Leave the data, even refused to answer us.
Rahul Gandhi said that anti-power spirit is something that affects every party in every democracy. But for some reason, the BJP is the only party in the democratic structure that is not originally suffering from anti-incumbency. Exit poll, opinion poll says one thing, you saw in Haryana elections, you saw in Madhya Pradesh elections and then suddenly the results go in a completely different direction with large scale changes. It also includes our own internal survey, which is quite sophisticated.
More than 5 years of voters connected in 5 months
Rahul Gandhi said, “… In Maharashtra, in Maharashtra, our doubts increased due to the joining of more than 5 years in 5 months and then there was a huge bounce in voting after 5 pm. Our alliance in the Lok Sabha elections was completely clear. It is very suspicious. We found that one crore new voters were added between the Lok Sabha and the assembly. We went to the Election Commission and our argument was that the essence of our argument was that what was the Maharashtra election, what is the election of this country. The voter is refusing to give the list.
40 thousand voters are not known
Rahul Gandhi further said- there are 40 thousand voters whose address is zero or not at all. Different names and people of different families and when we go there, it is known that no one lives there. According to the Election Commission, many people live on these addresses, but when we go there, it is known that no one lives there. There are no pictures of many people in the voter list and even if there is such, the voters cannot be identified.
Rahul Gandhi said, “They (Election Commission) are not attacking me. They are afraid of attacking me. They have not taken any action against me because they know that I am telling the truth. They (Election Commission) speak but are not attacking me because they know that we are telling the truth.”
