Pitru paksha 2025 upay: Pitra Paksha has special significance in Hinduism. During this time, it is believed that our ancestors come to Earth from Pitruloka and live in the house of their descendants for 15 days. Religious works like Shraddha, Tarpan and Pindadan are performed during this period to get their blessings and give them peace. Remove these 5 things immediately from home
1. Sugar or closed watch: In Vastu Shastra, the clock is considered a symbol of progress and time of life. The bad or closed watch in the house indicates misfortune and it hinders the progress of family members. It is considered inauspicious to stay in the house of such a watch during Pitru Paksha. Therefore, get it fixed immediately or remove it from the house.
2. Broken or chopped utensils: The house should never have a broken or chopped utensils, as they promote negativity. According to the scriptures, serving food to the ancestors in these utensils is considered inauspicious, which may make ancestors angry and can cause financial crisis in the house. Take all these utensils out of the house before the Pitru Paksha starts.
3. Dried or withered plants: Green plants are a symbol of positive energy, while dried or withering plants spread negative energy. Such plants bring inauspicious in the house and obstruct the grace of the ancestors. Before the beginning of the ancestral side, remove these plants and plant green plants in the house.
4. Broken or fragmented sculptures: It is considered inauspicious to keep fragmented idols or torn pictures of deities in the house. It is believed that God does not live in such fragmented idols. They should be immersed in a holy river before the ancestral side or placed under a tree.
5. Rusty goods and unusable items: The rust lying in the house transmits iron, old and broken furniture, or any unusable object of negative energy. Such things are like junk in the house and close the path of prosperity. During the ancestral side, the house should be completely clean and dislocated free.
