“Plant 100 saplings, clean the hospital”, jailed person gets bail on these conditions

The Odisha High Court has granted bail to accused Bigan Ranjan Das, accused in the car theft case, but has imposed some unique conditions for this. The court has said that after the release, 100 saplings will have to be planted and cleaning work at the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar. This decision is Justice S.K. Of. The bench of Panigrahi has been taken. The accused was in jail since January.
According to the court order, Das will have to plant 100 plants of local varieties like mango, neem, tamarind. This plantation will be done in the Dumduma region. Plants can be planted on government land, community land or slave or private land of their family. If the land is not available, the revenue department will help in marking the place. The accused will have to take care of these plants for two years. It will be monitored by Info Valley Police Station Incharge.
Bail canceled for not following conditions
Also, the accused will have to clean the wards and rooms in Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar for a month. The superintendent of the hospital has been instructed to arrange it through the staff. The court has warned strictly that if the accused does not follow these conditions, his bail will be canceled.
Car used in incident recovered
According to the information, the matter is on the night of 23 January, when the complainant was going from Shantapada to Pitapalli from his car. On the way, a young man asked for a lift and then two other companions came and threatened the complainant and escaped with his car. The car used in the theft incident from the accused Das was recovered and the charge sheet has also been filed. In this way, the court has tried to connect the accused with social service, not only limited to jail, which can improve the culprit and also benefit the society.
