PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: A large part of the Indian economy is based on the agricultural sector. For this reason, the main source of income of crores of farmers in the country is related to agriculture. However, even today there are crores of farmers in the country who are financially weak. The Government of India is running many great schemes to provide financial assistance to these farmers and secure their future.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is also one of these. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was started by the Government of India in the year 2019. Under this scheme, the Government of India is providing financial assistance of Rs 6,000 every year to small and marginal farmers of the country. This financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand is released every year in three installments.

Under each installment, the Government of India transfers an amount of two thousand rupees to the accounts of poor farmers of the country. Till now the government has sent a total of 18 installments to the bank accounts of the farmers.



If media reports are to be believed, the Central Government may release the 19th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the month of February next year. However, the Central Government has not yet made any official announcement regarding this.
