PM kisan yojana: Today a good news has come for crores of farmers of the country. The Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India has announced the 20th installment date to be given under the PM Kisan Yojana. The Ministry of Agriculture informed that under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Nidhi (PM Kisan) Scheme, all eligible farmers will be given money for 20th installment next month. The Ministry of Agriculture has informed this through a post on Tuesday night. The ministry told its official X that under the PM Kisan Yojana, farmers will be transferred to 2000 rupees on August 2, 2025.
19th installment was released in February this year
The Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in February 2019. Prime Minister Narendra Modi last released the 19th installment of PM Kisan Yojana on his visit to Bihar on February 24, 2025. The Ministry of Agriculture said in its post that the 20th installment of PM Kisan will be transferred directly to the bank account of farmers from Varanasi in UP on 2 August 2025. Let us tell you that the Government of India helps the eligible farmers of the entire country financially Rs 6000 every year. These 6000 rupees are given to farmers as 3 installments of 2000-2000 rupees every 4 months.

After getting the 19th installment, now farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment. Meanwhile, today the government announced the date of payment of 20th installment. The money to be given under the PM Kisan Yojana is directly deposited in the bank account of the farmers. To get benefits under the PM Kisan Yojana, registered farmers are required to do OTP based EKYC. The main objective of the PM Kisan Yojana is to provide financial assistance to the farmers, so that the expenses of the farmers can be reduced and their earnings can increase.
