PM Modi participated in pairs, private investment will be promoted in innovation – Cross Talk India
Prime Minister Narendra Modi He attended the pair conference on Tuesday. The meaning of pair is confluence in Sanskrit. This is the first policy conference of its kind in which veterans related to the government, educational sector, industry and innovation ecosystem attended. The main objective of this conference is to promote private investment at large level in India’s innovation ecosystem. The event, run by a collaborator project of about Rs 1400 crore from the joint investment of Wadhwani Foundation and government establishments, will play a remarkable role in India’s innovation journey. Addressing the conference, PM Modi said, “The education system plays an important role in preparing the youth for the future of the country, we are modernizing this system.”
Gross expenditure on R&D increased by Rs 1.25 lakh crore
Addressing the conference, Prime Minister Modi further said that in 2013-14, the gross expenditure on research and development (R&D) was Rs 60,000 crore, which the Modi government has now increased by Rs 1.25 lakh crore. He said, “The government’s goal is to” be effective for India “, we have to work towards making India the best in the world in every future technology.”
