PM Modi’s strong reception in Croatia.
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi arrived in Croatia on Wednesday in the last phase of a three -country visit. In Jagreb here, PM Modi has been given a grand welcome with music and cultural programs. A group of Croatian citizens welcomed PM Modi with Sanskrit chanting. People of the Indian community also welcomed PM Modi with slogans of Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai. PM Modi and Prime Minister of Croatia Andrez Plankovic have held delegation level talks. India and Croatia have discussed several important issues to promote bilateral relations.

A strong cultural ties between the two countries have been demonstrated in Jagreb, Croatia. PM Modi has also shared a video of this moment on social media. The video shows that a group of Croatian citizens dressed in white clothes is chanting several Sanskrit mantras to welcome PM Modi. While sharing this video, PM Modi wrote- “The bonds of culture are strong and lively! It is a pleasure to see that Indian culture gets so much respect in Croatia.” Let us tell you that PM Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Croatia.

In Croatia, Prime Minister Modi has said that democracy, rule of law, pluralism and equality, are shared values that add us. PM Modi has said that India and Croatia have decided to give three times their bilateral relations. Prime Minister Modi has informed that a plan will be made to increase defense cooperation between India and Croatia.

Plankovic said on X- “Both countries are starting a new chapter in their relationship and are facilitating things to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields.” The PM of Croatia has expressed grief over the recent terrorist attack in India. He has said that terrorism is the biggest threat to global stability. Plankovic said that the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Israel-Iran situation have been discussed in the meeting between him and Prime Minister Modi.
