Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate five railway stations rebelled under the Vadodara railway division under the Amrit Bharat Scheme on 22 May. These are the names of these stations- Dakor, Karmasad, Dhol, Kosamba and Utran. According to TOI news, PM Modi will make virtual inauguration of these stations. Let us tell you, under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme launched two years ago, more than 1300 stations have to be constructed in a new way and develop them as world -class travel hubs, where modern facilities for travelers and local culture and heritage are also seen.
These five stations will be inaugurated
Dakor station
Dakor station, which is considered to be the entrance of Shri Ranchodarai Temple, has now included a pilgrimage-oriented design with a smart, environment friendly infrastructure to promote religious tourism.
Karmasad station
The ancestral city of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel has a tribute dedicated to an art wall and Patel’s legacy in Karamsad station. Details of architecture are inspired by traditional motifs, which provide culturally immersed environment.
Derol station
The Derol station is designed with a temple -inspired architecture, including traditional arches and design that echo the historical and spiritual importance of nearby Pavagadh.
Land station
The Utran station has been developed to support the increasing urban spread of the metro region of Surat, which focuses on modern, inclusive infrastructure and accessible daily traffic.
Kosamba station
Kosambi station, has also been upgraded to meet modern passenger standards. Now all stations include comfortable waiting room, clear entry and exit points, increased safety facilities, digital signage and better features such as environmentally friendly systems.
