Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate newly constructed multi -storey flats for members of Parliament

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the newly constructed 184 type-VII multi-storey flats for Members of Parliament at Baba Khadak Singh Marg, New Delhi at around 10 am on Monday. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will plant a sindoor plant in his residence premises. The Prime Minister will address the laborers on this occasion. He will also talk to the people present.

This complex is designed to make self -sufficient and it is equipped with a full range of modern facilities to meet the functional needs of the Members of Parliament. Including green technology, the project follows the GRIHA 3-Star rating standards and complies with the National Building Code (NBC) 2016.

What are the facilities?

  1. These flats are made keeping in mind the environment. It has used green technology, which will save energy, renewable energy and waste manage properly.
  2. Special and advanced construction techniques have been used to build these buildings, making them very strong and also an earthquake. Also, a strong security system has been installed here.
  3. This campus is also completely convenient for the disabled, so that they do not have any kind of trouble.
  4. Each flat is about 5,000 square feet, with a lot of space for MPs to live and work.
  5. There is also a separate place for offices, employees residence and a community center in the campus, which will help MPs to do their work.

The project was launched because there was a shortage of good housing for MPs. Due to the less space, the building has been made high, so that the land can be used better and the cost of maintenance is also reduced.
