PM Modi Address Parliament of Ghana: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is on a tour of Ghana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Ghana after 30 years. On reaching Ghana on Wednesday, President Mahama warmly welcomed PM Modi at the airport. Prime Minister Modi was also given a 21 cannon salute with the Guard of Honor.

‘To be in Ghana is a matter of good fortune’

India and Ghana have signed four agreements in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ghana President John Droni Mahama. Prime Minister Modi’s address has started in Ghana’s Parliament. At the beginning of his address, Prime Minister Modi said, “I am feeling very proud to address this prestigious House today. It is a good fortune to be in Ghana, it is a land that is a land that is filled with the spirit of democracy.”

PM Modi expressed gratitude for the highest honor

PM Modi said, “As a representative of the world’s largest democracy, I have brought with me the goodwill and best wishes to 1.4 billion Indians. I express my gratitude for 140 crore Indians for the highest honor from Ghana.”
