PM Modi’s befitting reply on 50% tariff of Donald Trump, said- agreement with farmers’ interests
Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Thursday, the agreement has been given by US President Donald Trump about the tariff imposed on India. PM Modi said that India will not compromise on the interests of its farmers. US President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced an additional 25 percent tariff on India to do oil trade with Russia. With this additional 25 percent tariff, the US has now imposed a total of 50 percent tariff on India. The US President announced a 25 percent tariff on goods imported from India last week. Along with this, he had said that he would impose a separate penalty to trade with Russia on India. After which he imposed 25 percent tariff on India on Wednesday as a separate fine to trade with Russia.
India will never compromise on the interests of farmers, fishermen and people associated with dairy sector
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while attending a conference held in Delhi, said that the interest of farmers is India’s top priority. PM Modi said that India will never compromise on the interests of farmers, fishermen and people associated with the dairy sector. PM Modi said at the conference, “If I have to pay a price to protect the interests of farmers, then I am ready for it.” Let us tell you that the US is demanding to enter India’s agriculture and dairy sector since the beginning of business talks. But India had already told the US in clear terms that they would not compromise for agriculture and dairy sectors.
Trump is now preparing to install secondary selection on India
US President Donald Trump is not getting comforted even after imposing an additional 25 percent tariff on India. He has said that he will also impose secondary sanctions on India to trade with Russia. Trump said that India is very close to China in terms of buying oil from Russia and will now have to pay 50 percent tariff with 25 percent additional tariffs. Secondary Sanctuary is an economic restriction that is imposed on a country (India) that trade with a country (Russia) on which primary sanctions have already been imposed.
