Brasilia: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a very strict message to the world from Brazil’s land against terrorism. PM Modi said that there is no place for double standards on terrorism. Brazil also stands with India in the war against terrorism. Bilateral talks took place in Brasilia on Tuesday between PM Modi and Brazilian President Luis Inecio Lula Dr. Silva. During this time 6 major agreements were reached in both countries.

India-Brazilian trade doubles in 5 years

During bilateral talks, India and Brazil have set a target of doubling their trade to US $ 20 billion in the next five years. During this period, six major agreements including energy, agriculture, digital technology, anti -terrorism cooperation were signed. Prime Minister Modi clarified that India and Brazil’s thinking towards terrorism is the same. He said, “There should be no sympathy for terrorism nor any double standards.” The two countries agreed to cooperate in areas such as dealing with terrorism and organized crime, sharing confidential information, and digital innovation.

India’s UPI will also run in Brazil

PM Modi said that along with implementing India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in Brazil, cooperation will be increased in areas such as agricultural research, publicity, and space, AI, supercomputes. “We will make visa procedures easier by making the relationship between the two countries with the colorfulness of the carnival, the energy of football and the collectivity of the samba,” we will promote mutual contact by making visa processes easier. “

India raised the voice of global South in BRICS

India raised the voice of Global South at the BRICS summit as usual. PM Modi expressed disappointment at ignoring Global South, which represents a large part of the world’s population. He said that without global South, the world is like a network without network. PM Modi described the Indo-Brazilian partnership as the basis of global stability and balance and said that disputes should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.
