Addressing the 81st annual general meeting (AGM) of the IATA (International Air Transport Association) in New Delhi on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India presents an outstanding opportunity to invest for the world’s leading aviation companies. It is the capacity of the Indian aviation sector that India is the third largest domestic aviation market in the world today. He said that today, India is emerging as a leading power in the global space-making conversion. The success of the Udaan Yojana is a golden chapter in Indian citizen aviation.

India emerging as a leading power

Addressing the veterans associated with the aviation sector in the IATA, PM Modi said that today, India is emerging as a leading power in the Global Space-Aviation Conarism. Speaking at the annual general meeting of IATA in India after about four decades, PM Modi said that a lot has changed in India in these four decades. Today’s India is more confident than ever before. We are not only a huge market in the Global Aviation Ecosystem, but also a symbol of policy leadership, innovation and invoice development.

Aviation sector will be the center of change and innovation

The PM said that today we are standing at a place where our travel plans are not limited to the cities of the earth only. Human beings are today dreaming of competing the space flight and trips between planets and opening it to civil aviation. It is true that it still has time. But it suggests that in the coming time, how big changes and innovation are going to be the center of innovation. India is ready for all these possibilities.

He further said that there are three reasons behind India’s strong base for this. First, India has a market. This market is not just a group of consumers, but is a reflection of India’s ambitious society. Second, we have demography and talent for technology and innovation. Our youth are new era innovators, bringing success in areas such as AI, robotics and Clin Energy. Third, we have an open and support policy ecosystem for the industry. On the basis of these three strength, we have to take the aviation sector of India to a new height.
