PM Modi’s visit to Bihar: will give a gift of Rs 7200 crore in Motihari

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in East Champaran district of Bihar on Friday. He will address a rally here and will also launch/lay the development projects worth Rs 7200 crore. Strict security arrangements have been made at Gandhi Maidan in the district headquarters Motihari city. PM can reach here in the afternoon of Modi. He can then share the stage with Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and several Union Ministers. After this, he will visit West Bengal and laying, inauguration and inauguration of several development projects costing more than Rs 5000 crore in Durgapur at around 3 pm. On this occasion, he will also address the public meeting.

PM Modi wrote on X, “I will stay in Motihari, Bihar tomorrow, July 18. Development works worth Rs 7200 crore will be launched or founded to the nation. These works include software technology parks, four new Amrit Bharat trains, roads and other projects.”

5 lakh people expected to come to the rally

Saurabh Jorwal, District Magistrate of East Champaran said, “All arrangements have been made for the public at the rally venue, in which about five lakh people are expected to come.” The District Magistrate said that people are expected to come from different areas. Therefore, parking has been arranged for 10,000 buses. Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat said that more than 10,000 police personnel have been deployed in the town. State BJP President Dilip Jaiswal said that this will be the Prime Minister’s 53rd visit to the state, “which shows that Bihar is at the top of Modi’s list of priorities.”

Rail projects worth Rs 5,385 crore

Among the development projects that PM Modi will start on Friday, projects related to railway will be Rs 5,385 crore. According to a statement issued by the Railways, it includes doubling of 256 km long Darbhanga-Narkatiaganj at a cost of Rs 4,079 crore and Darbhanga-Thalawara and Samastipur-Rambhadrapur lines at a cost of Rs 585 crore.

Tejashwi Yadav targeted

Leader of the Opposition in the state assembly, Tejashwi Yadav said, “Tomorrow, when the Prime Minister is in Bihar, we hope that he will have some words at the rising crime rate in the state.” He alleged, “In every rally on the land of Bihar, Modi is seen saying that the Jungle Raj will return if the RJD -led coalition comes to power. They should accept that Jungle Raj has already arrived. Actually, this is during the 20 -year rule of the NDA in the state. ”
