PM Narendra Modi will reach Bangalore tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka on Sunday 10 August and inaugurate several major projects promoting urban transport and rail connectivity in Bangalore. The Prime Minister will reach KSR railway station in Bangalore at around 11 am, where they will flag three Vande Bharat Express trains. These include trains running between Bengaluru -Belgavi, Amritsar -Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Nagpur (Ajni) -Pune. These high-speed trains will reduce travel time and provide world class experience to passengers.

PM Modi’s gift to Bengaluru

After this, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Yellow line of Bangalore Metro, which will go from RV Road (Ragiguda) to Bommasandra. This project with 19 km long and 16 stations is part of Phase-2, which costs around ₹ 7,160 crore. The Prime Minister will also travel from RV Road to Electronic City Metro Station on the occasion. With the introduction of this new route, the operating of Bengaluru will be more than 96 km, which will benefit thousands of passengers daily.

PM Modi will address public meeting

Around 1 pm, Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of Bangalore Metro Phase-3. This ambitious project of ₹ 15,610 crore will be more than 44 km long and will have 31 elevated stations. The project will meet the transport needs of the city’s residential, industrial, commercial and educational areas. The Prime Minister will also address a public meeting during his visit, where he will highlight the benefits of these important urban contact projects, which will help in dealing with the city’s rapidly growing population and traffic problems.
