High level security meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi
A high-level security meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which lasted for about 70 minutes, including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan and all three forces- Army, Navy and Air Force heads participated.
This meeting was called after a horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 innocent people were killed. After this attack, the central government has indicated to take strict measures. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has vowed to chase the terrorists and their patrons behind the attack to the end of the earth and punish them harshly, which is clearly a pointing to Pakistan, which has a history of sponsoring terrorist attacks in India.
Discussion on strategy regarding action against terrorists
The meeting discussed the strategy for action against the terrorists in the meeting. According to sources, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had earlier met the Prime Minister at his residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg on Monday. During this, CDS General Anil Chauhan informed the Defense Minister about some important decisions taken after the attack.
All -party meeting was called by the government after the terrorist attack
After the Pahalgam terror attack, the government also called an all -party meeting, in which all opposition parties assured the government to give full support in every step to be taken against terrorism. A meeting of the Cabinet Security Affairs Committee (CCS) meeting was also called immediately after this attack. In this meeting, the conspiracies of the border behind the attack were revealed. It was also reported that the attack took place in Jammu and Kashmir to successfully concluded in Jammu and Kashmir and the growing steps towards economic development of the state.
