Poetry on forgiveness: Michhami Dukkadam
The word is small,
Meaning as deep as ocean
‘Michmi Dukkadam’
That is, whatever mistake was made,
It disappears,
Be zero,
In the air of forgiveness
The burden of the mind should be removed.
Nature also says the same
Trees forgive the fall,
The sun forgives darkness,
And the rain forgives the drought.
Then why not humans?
Paryushan festival practice
Not only fast and discipline,
Rather there is an opportunity to peep inside
Where we realize
That the greatest victory
Victory over anger,
And the biggest power
Forgiveness is the power.
When i say
‘Michmi Dukkadam’
So it is only of speech
No pronunciation,
Rather is the salute of the soul
For every person
Which ever hurt,
Whether intentionally,
Or unknowingly.
Forgiveness is the heart of religion,
Forgiveness is the door of relationships,
Forgiveness of soul
There is true peace.
Come, on this festival
Hidden inside the mind
Ego
Strangle,
On dry branches of relationships
Grow greenery again.
Because
Where there is forgiveness, there is compassion,
Where there is compassion, there is true religion,
And where there is religion,
There is a path of liberation of life.
