Bengaluru: The Karnataka police have arrested eight people in the murder of Hindu activist Suhas Shetty. According to the police, all the accused arrested are associated with the ‘Safwan’ gang. Suhas, the main accused of Mohammad Fazil’s famous 2022 murder, was murdered by a group of unidentified assailants in Kinnikambala, Bajpe, on the night of 1 May.

What was the reason for the murder?

Sources said that Fazil’s brother Adil had allegedly given money to the attackers to kill Shetty. The 2022 Mohammad Fazil murder case, Hindu activist Praveen Nettaru was a murder case to avenge the murder, Suhas was the main accused in which.

The main accused in the case, Abdul Safwan, Fazil’s brother Adil, Niaz, Muzammil, Kalander Shafi, Rizwan, Ranjit and Nagraj have been arrested. Police investigation has also revealed that Suhas and his friends had also attacked Abdul Safwan a year ago, but he somehow escaped and to avenge this, Safwan along with the rest of his gangs killed Suhas brutally.

Today, the Home Minister Dr. Parmeshwar, who was present in Mangalore, held a meeting with higher officials after which it was decided that the anti -communal task force will be formed in communally sensitive areas like Mangaluru on the lines of Anti Naxal Task Force.

Please tell that a Hindu activist was murdered on Thursday evening in Mangaluru city of South Kannada district. The police have identified the deceased as Suhas Shetty. Suhas was the main accused in the Fazil murder and many other cases of crime were also going on. Fazil was the main accused in the murder of Hindu activist Praveen Nettaru. Fazil was killed in Suratkal on 28 July 2022 after Praveen’s brutal murder and Suhas Shetty was the main accused in the case.
