Bangladeshi actress Nusrat Faria, who plays Sheikh Hasina in ‘Mujib: The Making of a Nation’ by former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Mujib ur Rehman, has been arrested from the airport on Sunday. The actress has been accused of attempt to murder.

31 -year -old Nusrat Faria was arrested at Hazrat Shahzal International Airport in Dhaka when she was to fly to Thailand. An arrest warrant was issued against Nusrat Faria in the attempt to murder.

Nusrat was stopped at the airport’s immigration check point and was then informed to the police. Nusrat was taken to Vatara police station. He was then handed over to the Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. The officials had already issued an arrest warrant against him after being involved in a violent case of 2024.

According to reports, a police officer said that the immigration police arrested Nusrat after seeing it at the airport. After being detained, he was first taken to the Vatara police station. Later, he was taken to the Detective Branch Office of Dhaka Metropolitan Police for further questioning.

The case of attempt to murder against Nusrat Faria was registered during the mass movement against Sheikh Hasina in July last year. Nusrat is one of the 17 people who have registered a case of attempt to kill a student in Vatara area of ​​Dhaka.

Nusrat Faria started his career as radio jockey and TV presenter. He made his debut on the big screen with the romantic drama ‘Aashiqui’ in 2015. After this she appeared in many films like Hero 420, Badsha-The Dawn, Lover O Lover and Boss 2: Back to Rule. The biggest twist in Faria’s acting career came when she played Sheikh Hasina in 2023 in ‘Mujib: The Making of a Nation’.
