Addressing the statue unveiling ceremony of former Union Minister late Madhavrao Scindia at Scindia Tirahe in Mainpuri on Friday, Yogi Adityanath said that Madhavrao Scindia was an emerging face in the country’s politics. It is noteworthy that on the night of September 30, 2001, eight people, including Madhavrao Scindia, died in a plane crash near Bhaisroli village of Bevar police station in Mainpuri district. Remembering Madhavrao Scindia, Yogi said that during the tragedy of 2001, every person was hurt by this sad news. On hearing this sad news, breaking the walls of politics, people of every caste, creed, religion, sect and political parties gathered to pay their heartfelt tributes to him.
Centuries old relationship between Gwalior Gharana and Gorakhpur
Chief Minister and Goraksha Peethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath, in the presence of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, while discussing the relationship between Gwalior royal family and Gorakhnath Peeth, said that the relationship between Gwalior family and Gorakhpur is centuries old. When the state was afraid of foreign invaders, then it has been the tradition of the saints to honor the great men who had contributed in ending that terror. Gorakshpeeth has always given importance to the tradition of saints. At that time, Peethadhishwar of Gorakshpeeth had done the work of honoring the ancestors of Madhavrao Scindia with the tradition of Gorakshpeeth while discharging that tradition, they were also entitled to it, because they had done the work of throwing foreign invaders outside the borders of the country. He said that his contribution is memorable for us even today.
Campaign against crime and criminals will continue
Appreciating the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yogi enumerated the achievements of the state government. While assuring the people of Mainpuri, he said that the government would continue to work with zero tolerance towards crime and criminals and corruption and the corrupt. His goal is to establish India as the world’s largest economy by associating with Prime Minister Modi’s resolutions. Uttar Pradesh is moving forward under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh will play an important role in making the country the world’s largest economy. The Chief Minister said that the speed with which the air service has progressed in the state in the last six years, at the same speed a network of highways, expressways and roads is being laid in the state. Every poor is being given the benefits of the schemes of the government without any discrimination, while earlier the benefits of the schemes were given by looking at the face.
250 year old relationship with Mainpuri
At the function, Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the Scindia family’s relation with Mainpuri is not ten-twenty years old, but 250 years old. In the period of history when foreign forces were spreading their foot on the land of Bharat Mata and Rohilla Afghans set out on a campaign to oppress this region, my forefather Datta Ji Maharaj Scindia and after him Maharishi Maharaj had established Bharat Mata in this entire region. My father breathed his last on this soil: Scindia
Scindia said that it was in the year 1770, when not only Mainpuri but also Etawah, Meerut, Badaun and Nazirabad were terrorized by the Rohilla Afghans. The forefathers of the Scindia family worked to uproot them. He said that the Scindia family has a deep connection with this soil. While the Scindia family liberated this region, my father breathed his last on this soil. The Union Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is moving fast on the path of development and progress under the leadership of Prime Minister and Chief Minister Yogi.
