Powerful couple of Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra

The film will feature Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles. The first glimpse of Bobby Deol’s look from the film has been released by the makers, in which he looks quite intense and serious. Bobby has now become a part of a story that is said to be inspired by true events after being dominated by ‘silent villain’ characters for a long time.

The makers wrote with the film’s poster, “A story that probably should never have been told … but now #TIFF50 is premiered in TIFF50. Our film ‘Bandar’, which is inspired by true events, is selected for the World Premier at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival.”

Anurag Kashyap’s real storytelling returns

Realism and grit in Anurag Kashyap’s films have always been special. After films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Black Friday and Agli, he is once again returning with the same realistic storytelling. Making a place in Tiff is an indication that this film is made not only in India but also Global Audiences.
