In Bollywood, Pran is remembered as an actor who ruled uniformly in the field of villain and got his acting iron. Pran was born on 12 February 1920 in a middle class family in Delhi. His father was only Krishna Sikand government contractor. His company used to take contracts to build roads and bridges.

After completing his studies, Pran started sharing his father’s work. One day at the paan shop, he met the famous screenwriter Wali Mohammad of Lahore. Wali Mohammed, after seeing Pran’s appearance, proposed to work in films with him. Pran did not pay attention to Vali Mohammad’s proposal at that time but he agreed when he repeatedly said.

Pran started his cine career from the film Yamla Jat. After the success of the film, Pran realized that if he makes a career in the film industry, he can achieve more fame. Meanwhile, Pran left Lahore and moved to Mumbai after India-Pakistan partition.

Pran acted in about 22 films and his films were successful but he felt that his future would be safe in the film industry as a villain rather than the lead actor. In the year 1948, he got a chance to work as a villain in Bombay Talkies’s film Ziddi. After the success of the film, Pran decided that he would make the villainy the basis of a career.

After this, Pran played a long innings of the villain for nearly four decades and entertained the audience. When Pran used to talk to the film actor on the silver screen, the audience is lying before speaking, it is not a life to believe it is a life, it is full of conflict in its veins. In the film court released in 1958, Pran acted in such a way that women ran away from the hall and the audience was sweaty.

In the seventies, Pran started trying to get a character role by getting out of the image of the villain. In 1967, producer-director Manoj Kumar gave Pran a role of Malang Kaka in his film Upkar which proved to be a milestone of Pran’s cine career. In the film Upkar, Pran played the role of Malang Kaka so strongly that people forgot Pran to be a villain.

The biography of the villain Pran of the century has also been written, which has been kept ‘and Pran’. This title of the book has been kept because in most of Pran’s films, his name was written behind all the actors and ‘Pran’. Sometimes his name was introduced in this way Abbov All Pran. Pran showed his acting in about 350 films in his more than four decades of long cine career.

If we look at the honor of Pran, he was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor thrice for his strong acting. In the year 2013, Pran was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the best honor of the film world.

Pran was paid more than the hero of the film during the summit of his career. He received more money from hero Amitabh Bachchan to work in the film Dawn. Pran, who mesmerized the audience with his strong acting, said goodbye to this world on 12 July 2013.
