Prayagraj dominated in zonal volleyball competition

Prayagraj, 19 September (HS). Divisional Secondary Volleyball School Competition for boys and girls was organized on the grounds of KP Inter College, in which all four districts of the division participated. Prayagraj district dominated the competition.
Chief guest of the inauguration ceremony of the competition, Deputy Education Director RN Vishwakarma inspired the players to make continuous efforts and said that today our country is continuously progressing in the field of sports. He appealed to the participants to continue their sports practice.
Chief guest of the closing ceremony and prize distribution, former president of Kayastha Pathshala Chaudhary Raghavendra Nath Singh and special guest SD Kautilya, General Secretary Kayastha Pathshala, honored the winners and runners-up players by giving them trophies. He congratulated the victorious participants on their victory and on the other hand, asked the players who were not successful not to be disappointed. Don’t give up your efforts, if you lose today you will definitely win tomorrow.
Before this, the guests were welcomed by Divisional Convenor and Principal Dr. Yogendra Singh and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Nandini Tiwari, Principal Jagat Taran Girls Inter College and conducted by Umesh Kumar Khare, Sports Teacher. The judges of the competition were Shailendra Pandey, Abhishek Singh, Aditya Singh Sakshi and Santosh Kushwaha.
In the final of senior boys category 19 years, Prayagraj won the competition by defeating Fatehpur by 25-10, 25-8 and in the senior girls category, Prayagraj won the competition by defeating Kaushambi by 25-8 and 25-13. In the sub-junior boys category, Prayagraj defeated Kaushambi by 25-15 and 25-8. In the Sub Junior Girls category, Pratapgarh won the competition by defeating Prayagraj in a tough match by 25-22 and 25-18.
