Rishi Negi, Group Chief Operating Officer of Banjaya Asia and Endemolshen India, said, “We did not think of ‘ash’ to make just a crime thriller.” This is a story in which the characters are important and which questions the right-wrong, justice and its results. It was a great experience for us to work with talented creators and fantastic actors like Priit Roy, Anusha Nandkumar and Sandeep Saket.

Printed Roy said, we like filmmakers make stories that do not just entertain, but also forces them to think. The ‘ash’ is the same story. It shows a deep world, where the real nature of a human being and its different colors emerge. Anusha and Sandeep have written a story that speaks on issues like blurred parts, justice and forgiveness between right and wrong. It also keeps the audience connected from beginning to end.

“Support of Prime Video and our brilliant acting by our cast Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre and Aamir Bashir have given this story deeper.” I am very happy that we are going to spread this strong and forced series to people around the world.
