Prime Video announced the premiere of crime thriller film Stonn, appreciated at many film festivals
Prime Video has announced the premiere of its new Hindi original Investigative Crime thriller film ‘Stunn’. The film’s exclusive global premiere will be on 4 June. Executive Producers – Supported by a acclaimed team of Anurag Kashyap, Kiran Rao, Nikhil Advani and Vikramaditya Motwani – is the first film directed by Stonn Karan Tejpal and is produced by Gaurav Dhingra for Jungle Book Studio.
The story of the film is written by Karan Tejpal in association with Swapnil Salkar – Agadbam and Gaurav Dhingra. The story is of two modern -minded brothers who see a poor mother’s child being kidnapped at a railway station in rural India. Inspired by moral responsibility, one brother convinces the other to help the other in this risky discovery to help this mother and find a child.
This powerful story has been alive by prominent artists like Abhishek Banerjee, Harish Khanna, Mia Malzer, Sahidurrahman and Shubham, Stunn will be premiered on prime video on June 4 in India and in more than 240 countries and regions around the world.
Stunn made a tremendous start with a strong debut at the Venice Film Festival, where it got a standing ovation, after which the film traveled a great journey in many film festivals around the world and received great appreciation and awards. It received the Best Director, Best Cinematography and Best Actress Award at the Beijing International Film Festival.
It received the Best Film and Best Director Award at Japan’s Skip City International D-Sinema Festival. The Zurich Film Festival also honored Stonn with special mention, which further strengthened its reputation on the global stage. In India, the film premiered at Jio Mami Mumbai Film Festival and was later shown at the 28th Kerala International Film Festival.
