Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi arrived in Kerala on Saturday night on a three -day visit to her Lok Sabha constituency Wayanad. During this time, while going from Kozhikode Airport, he stopped his convoy in view of a road accident. He called a doctor from the convoy to investigate the injured and give them first aid.

He then instructed the ambulance team present in his convoy to take the injured persons to the nearest hospital. The accident occurred when Naushad and his family’s car collided with another car in Engappuzha in Kozhikode district. In the video, Priyanka Gandhi can also be seen talking to the injured. Priyanka Gandhi has arrived on a Wayanad tour with her husband Robert Vadra.

Won by heavy votes from Wayanad

Born on 12 January 1972, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra won the 2024 Lok Sabha by -election by a huge vote from Wayanad in Kerala. He won by a margin of 4,10,931 votes. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra campaigned widely for the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. He announced to contest the Wayanad by -election following the resignation of his brother Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi also won the election from Rae Bareli and left the Wayanad seat.

He started political journey from UP

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra started her political journey from Uttar Pradesh, where she took over as General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in 2019. He led the Congress campaign in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, but the party suffered a huge defeat. He then resigned from the post of AICC General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh in December 2023.
