Mann ki baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi insisted on the local for vocal in the 125th episode of his radio revision Mann Ki Baat. He appealed to the people to use indigenous products and said proudly that it is indigenous. This is the 125th episode of Mann Ki Baat. It broadcast at a time when the country is facing the problem of tariffs of US President Trump. PM Modi expressed grief over the incident of loss of life and property on a large scale, referring to natural disasters at the beginning of his address.

This pain is the pain of all of us-PM Modi

PM Modi said-In this season of monsoon, natural disasters are committing the country. In the last few weeks, we have seen a huge havoc of floods and landslides. Somewhere the houses were destroyed, somewhere the fields were drowned, the family families were destroyed, the bridges were washed away in the strong flow of the water, the roads were washed away, the lives of the people got stuck in crisis. These incidents have made every Indian unhappy. Families who lost their loved ones, their pain is the pain of all of us.

Praise of army works

He praised NDRF, SDRF and local agencies in this hour of disaster. Also appreciated the works of the army. He said- ‘The army came to the fore in the hour of your clock. Local people, social workers, doctors, administration, everyone made every effort in this hour of crisis. I heartily thank every such citizen who has kept humanity at the top of this difficult time.

Referring to the achievements of Jammu and Kashmir

He said-Amidst this devastation of flood and rain, Jammu and Kashmir has also achieved two very special achievements. They did not pay attention to many people, but when you know about those achievements, you will be very happy. A record number of people gathered at a stadium in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. The first day-night cricket match of the police was played here. Earlier it was impossible to happen, but now my country is changing. This match is part of ‘Royal Premier League’, in which different teams from Jammu and Kashmir are playing. So many people, especially young, at night in Pulwama, enjoying thousands of cricket – this view was really worth seeing.

The second event that attracted attention is the first ‘Khelo India Water Sports Festival’ in the country and that too took place on Dal Lake in Srinagar. What is the special place to organize such a celebration. Its aim is to make Water Sports more popular in Jammu and Kashmir and more than 800 Athletes from all over India.
