Public Seva Kendra operators will get free AI training, a total of 10 lakh people will be trained across the country
Central Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Wednesday that the government will provide free training of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to more than 5.5 lakh rural entrepreneurs who run Common Service Center. Ashwini Vaishnav said on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Common Service Center E-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV) that CSC operators will be trained under the government’s Bharat Artificial Intelligence Mission. Under this mission, there is a provision for training a total of 10 lakh people across the country in the field of AI.
Ashwini Vaishnav urged village level entrepreneurs to start IRCTC services
Ashwini Vaishnav said, “All of you will be given AI training for free. We have targeted to make about 1 million people efficient under the Artificial Intelligence Mission. All 5.5 lakh rural level entrepreneurs will be given priority in training. ”Along with this, he urged all VLE i.e. village level entrepreneurs to start IRCTC services. He said that the government will talk to the Chief Ministers to integrate the state IT agencies with CSC-SPV.
CSC Rural Entrepreneurs want allocation of Aadhaar related work in their center
On this occasion, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Jitin Prasad put up the demand for merger of CSC rural entrepreneurs with state-based government service centers with public service centers. He said that this will give him opportunities to create more income. Jitin Prasad also said that CSC Rural Entrepreneurs want allocation of Aadhaar related work in their center. Vaishnav asked the CSC SPV to prepare details on the merger of the state-based service centers and assured the rural entrepreneurs that they would discuss the possibility of their merger with the state governments.
