Pune-Nashik Expressway will complete the journey between Pune to Nashik in just so many hours, the government gave this important information
 
                
Pune-Nashi Industrial Expressway The plan is in the final stages. After getting its approval, the expressway will be completed in the next three years. This information was given by Dadaji Straw, the School Education Minister of Maharashtra, while answering a question of MLA Satyajit Tambe in the Legislative Council. Significantly, Pune-Nashi Industrial Expressway is a major and ambitious project of the Government of Maharashtra which will promote development. The government says that on the completion of this express, travel time between Pune and Nashik will be reduced from 2.5 to 3 hours, which will greatly benefit industries, transport and tourism between the two cities. It takes more than 5 hours to travel between the two cities.
Industrial corridor will be encouraged
The Pune-Nashik Expressway, connecting both cities, will help create a strong industrial corridor, which will provide direct contact to many small, medium and large industries, which will boost employment. The proposed expressway will also connect several pilgrimage sites. The straw also informed that some technical aspects are being worked on about the root (alignment) of the expressway.
Government approved last year
Let us tell you that the government had approved the Pune-Hanus Industrial Expressway in February last year. This highway will also be connected to the Surat-Chennai Expressway, which will benefit not only Maharashtra, but also other states. The expressway will be about 133 km long and the construction is expected to be completed in 3 years. 1545 hectares of land will be acquired for this. Cities like Ahilyanagar and Nashik are the major economic centers of Maharashtra, and this expressway will give a new dimension to industrial activities in these areas.
