Qatar Airways will resume global flights; Air India-AI Express also restored flights to Middle East
After a ceasefire between Israeli and Iran, Qatar Airways on Tuesday said that the airlines teams are working with attention and care to help passengers after the airspace’s reopening in the Qatar state. We are in the process of restoring our global network of over 170 destinations. Qatar Airways shared this information on social media platforms. Here in India, domestic airlines Air India and Air India Express have also started flights for the Middle East. Apart from this, the Iraqi air space has also opened again and now the flights have started coming and going.
Air India’s services for the Middle East resumed
According to PTI news, Air India and Air India Express resumed their services for the Middle East respectively on Tuesday, including flights for Dubai and Muscat respectively, as countries in the region have reopened their air spaces. Officials said Air India Delhi-Dubai Udaan and Air India Express are operating Delhi-Mask Services. With the increase in tension in the east, especially after Iran fired missiles on the American airbase in Qatar, some countries in the region shut down their airspace, which included several flights diverted and canceled, including Indian airlains.
Most operations from 25 June
Air India said it would gradually resume flights for the Middle East as the air spaces in the region are slowly opening and most of the operations will resume from June 25. The airline said that flights coming from Europe, which were earlier canceled, are gradually resumed from today, while services from the east coast of the US and Canada will resume as soon as possible.
These flights started again from 24 June
The Air India Express, which is one of the largest operators of the Middle East, also said that it is re -starting services for the Middle East with flights to Muscat, Riyadh and Jeddah from Tuesday. The airline fly to 13 cities of the Middle East, operating around 900 flights every week. The airline said it is restarting its operations for the Middle East from Tuesday as the airspaces are re -opening in the area. From Tuesday, our first flight for the region will be on the Delhi-Mask route, followed by services on the Mumbai-Mask, Kozhikode-Mask, Kozhikode-Riyad and Jaipur-Jadda routes. Airlines flights to the Middle East, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ann and Ras al -Khemah, are scheduled from Wednesday for other cities of the Middle East.
