South Africa’s left-handed star wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Cock recently told the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025 team on the social media account of their team Barbados’s social media account. The special thing is that he gave place to only one Indian cricketer in this team. In the last 93 years, many of the best left-handers have been part of Team India like Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ravindra Jadeja, Irfan Pathan and Arshdeep Singh, but D Cock only selected Ravindra Jadeja in his team.

This XI of De Kock consists of three Australian cricketers, four Sri Lankan and two Pakistani players. However, giants like Mitchell Starc and Adam Gilchrist did not get a place in it.

He chose Matthew Hayden and himself for the opening. Sanath Jayasuriya and then Kumar Sangakkara and Michael Hussey placed at number three. The bowling attack included Wasim Akram, Mohammad Aamir, Chaminda Vas and Mitchell Starc in the bowling attack. Ravindra Jadeja and Rangana Herath were selected in the spin department.

Significantly, Yuvraj Singh, who played an important role in winning India in the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI Cup, did not get a place in this team. This decision was surprised for many cricket fans.

All time left-handers XI of Quinton de Kock:

Quinton de Kock, Matthew Hayden, Sanath Jayasuriya, Kumar Sangakkara, Michael Husi, Ravindra Jadeja, Rangana Herath, Wasim Akram, Mohammad Aamir, Chaminda Vas, Mitchell Starc
