In Bollywood, RD Burman is remembered as a composer who mesmerized the audience with his magical music. RD Burman was born on 27 June 1939 in Calcutta (now Kolkata). Pancham Da, who was a musician from the film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ released in 1965, was somewhat successful in making his mark in the film industry. The song ‘Aao Twist Kare’ from this film became very popular among the audience.

Along with this, he got another shock when producer director Subhash Ghai signed composer Laxmikant Pyarelal in his place in the film ‘Ramlakhan’. After this, however, his music was well liked in ‘Paar Pai’, ‘Leibas’, ‘Parinda’, ‘1942 A Love Story’.

Apart from music direction, Pancham da also gave his voice for many films.
