R Madhavan wanted to become an army officer but not an actor
Actor R Madhavan, who has played his performance from South to Bollywood industry, is celebrating his birthday on 1 June. He was born in a Tamil family in Jamshedpur, Bihar. R has been a Tata Steel Executive of R Madhavan. In the year 1999, Madhavan married girlfriend Sarita Birje. He has a son Vedanta.
R Madhavan started his film career after marriage at the age of 29, and continued to move forward showing his talent. After which he paid attention to the small screen and did many TV shows. R Madhavan then acted in many films in South India. After which his work started getting praise. He was also awarded the South Filmfare Award. R Madhavan got a special identity in Hindi films from the film Rahe Hai Tere Dil. After this film, he got a line of offers.
R Madhavan has won the hearts of people with his performance in films like Three Idiets, Rahe Hai Tere Dil Mein, Rang De Basanti, Ramji Londonwale, Tanu Weds Manu.
