Rafale fighter jet’s ‘Make in India’ explosion, Dassault and Tata will now make main body in India
Dassault Aviation and Tata Advanced Systems will now manufacture the main body of Rafale fighter aircraft in India. Both companies have signed four production transfer agreements for this. According to the Economic Times news, this is the first time that the main body of the fighter aircraft is being produced outside France. According to Dassault Aviation, it is an important investment in India’s aerospace infrastructure and will serve as an important center for high precision manufacturing.
Which part will be made in India
According to the news, the Tata Advanced Systems will set up a state -of -the -art production facility for the construction of Rafale’s major structural segments in Hyderabad under this partnership of the two companies. Here includes the rear shells of the back torso, the entire back, the central torso and the front. There is a possibility that Rafael’s first main body will be prepared from the assembly line in FY 2028. This facility is expected to prepare two full torso every month.
