Railway Ministry made a big change in the rules of emergency quota, common passengers will get
Railway ministry Has made a major change under emergency quota. The Railways had recently decided to prepare a reservation chart 8 hours before the train departure time for the convenience of passengers. Keeping this decision in mind, the Railways has also changed the rules for filing requests under Emergency Quota. The Railway Ministry issued a circular on Tuesday in this matter. Railways said in this circular, “All trains leaving between 10.00 am and 13.00 pm should reach the emergency cell by 12 noon before the emergency quota request journey for all trains.”
Time will be separated for trains running between 14:01 pm and 12:59 pm
The circular states, “All other trains leaving between 14:01 pm and 12:59 pm should reach the emergency cell by 16:00 pm a day before the emergency quota request journey.” Let us tell you that seats are reserved for VIPs, railway employees and medical emergency passengers under Emergency Quota. However, misuse of this facility and requesting at the last minute often delays the chart preparing and it directly and badly affects passengers with waiting list, causing them a lot of inconvenience. But now the new rules will give a lot of relief to common passengers with waiting list.
What is time for Sunday and other holidays
The Railway Ministry has clarified that the seats will not be given on the requests received under the Emergency Kota on the departure of the train. Regarding Sunday or any other public holiday, the Ministry has said that the trains in which the emergency quota is to be released on Sunday or Sunday, will have to be filed before the time before the office closure to release the seat. The Railway Ministry said that the Railway Board’s Reservation Cell receives a large number of requests from VIPs, railway officials, senior officials and other departments.
