A new Amrit Bharat train from Gaya in Bihar to Delhi is going to start from 22 August 2025 i.e. today. East Central Railway has released other information including timing and stoppage of this train. The Gaya-Delhi Amrit Bharat Express train has been flagged off on Friday itself. The Prime Minister has also flagged off the Buddhist circuit train between Vaishali and Koderma. The objective of the Buddhist circuit train is to promote tourism among the major Buddhist sites of the region and to promote spiritual and cultural contact. According to East Central Railway, common people will be able to travel from this train from August 28.
How long will you be available for you
East Central Railway says that train number 13697 Gaya-Delhi Amrit will depart from Gaya Gaya at 16:30 and reach Delhi at 12 noon. Similarly, train number 13698 Delhi-Gaya Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Delhi at 14 am and reach Gaya at 8.55 am. Stopping at a total of 9 stations between Delhi and Gaya, this train will reach its destination.
Train number 13697 will run from Gaya on Sunday and Thursday from 28 August 2025, while train number 13698 will run from Delhi on Monday and Friday from 29 August 2025 till further orders. This train will have 11 general coaches, while 8 sleeper coaches. Booking for reservation in sleeper coaches has started. You will get a fare of Rs 560 for reservation in sleeper coaches from Gaya to Delhi.
Which station will be the stoppage
Gaya-Delhi-Gaya Amrit Bharat Express will stop in both cities respectively in Anugraha Narayan Road, Dehri Onson, Sasaram, Bhabhua Road, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Subedar Ganj, Govindpuri, Tundla and Ghaziabad. The Amrit Bharat Express will take a total of 19 hours 30 minutes to make the second decision between Gaya and Delhi. The train between the two cities will travel a total of 983 km.
New fast memu train between Vaishali to Koderma
The new fast memu train between Vaishali to Koderma has also started by the railway. Train number 03624 Gaya – Vaishali Memu Fast Passenger (Unilateral) and Train Number 03626 Gaya – Koderma Fast MEMU passenger was operated as special train.
