Rain caused havoc in different parts of the country, IMD alert issued for many states
Life has been disturbed due to heavy rains in many areas of the country.
New Delhi: Monsoon rains have caused havoc in many parts of the country. Heavy rains and floods in many states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Odisha and Chhattisgarh have completely disturbed life. Roads have become ponds, fields and barns are submerged, and landslides in many places have stalled traffic. The Indian Meteorological Department i.e. IMD has issued an alert for heavy rain in many states even today, which can further increase the difficulties of the people.
Cloudburst in Himachal havoc
On Monday night, cloudburst and flash flood in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh caused huge havoc. In this disaster, 3 people from the same family lost their lives. The debris and big stones with heavy rains destroyed homes and shops. Debris is scattered on the roads within 5 km radius of Mandi. Electricity supply is stalled, and the administration has taken people to safe places. Relief and rescue operations are still on. Heavy rains are also going on in Kangra district, and the Meteorological Department has also warned of rain.

Flood -like conditions in Madhya Pradesh
Heavy rains in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh have created a situation of water holocaust. The 70 -year -old Dam’s Westwear broke in Kalora here and flood -like conditions. Roads, fields, houses and shops were submerged in water. In the New City Colony, the houses are submerged in water till one floor, and all the items kept below have been washed away. People are forced to be imprisoned in homes. The administration has transported people from nearby villages to safe places and advised the rest to stay in homes. The rain has also wreaked havoc in Ujjain. The wall of Kanji House of the Municipal Corporation collapsed near Lalbai Phulbai intersection, under which the car and scooty were buried. Thankfully, there were no casualties in this accident. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in 34 districts of Madhya Pradesh today.
Rewa river in Rajasthan
The Rewa river is flowing above the danger mark due to continuous rains in Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The river boom filled water in the surrounding villages and stone mines, causing a loss of crores to the mine owners. Many villages were flooded by 8 to 10 feet, causing all the goods of the people to deteriorate. The District Collector and Superintendent of Police have visited the affected areas and reviewed the situation.
Kedarnath Yatra affected in Uttarakhand
Heavy rains and landslides in Sonprayag, Uttarakhand have repeatedly affected the Kedarnath Yatra. The road was closed due to landslides on the Sonprayag-Gaurikund road, and passengers have been stopped at safe places. The administration has started the work of removing debris, but due to rain, passengers are facing a lot of trouble.
Meteorological department released alert
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Bihar. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha and Chhattisgarh. The department has appealed people to live in safe places and take precautions. Scientist Divya E. Surendran has warned that this period of rain will continue, which can lead to more serious. The administration has intensified relief and rescue operations in areas affected by floods and rain. People have been advised to stay away from rivers and low -lying areas.
