Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Chief Raj Thackeray arrived in Matoshree at Uddhav Thackeray’s house after 6 years on Sunday. During this, Raj hugged Shiv Sena (UBT) Chief Uddhav Thackeray and greeted his birthday by giving them a bouquet.

Earlier, Raj Thackeray went to Matoshree in 2019 6 years ago. He invited the Uddhav family to attend his son Amit’s wedding. At the same time, Raj went to Matoshree in 2012. Balasaheb Thackeray was ill at that time.

On July 5, 20 years later, Uddhav and Raj were seen together during a rally at Worli Dome in Mumbai. On this occasion, there were indications of doing politics together further by both. After making Uddhav the head of Shiv Sena, Raj formed a separate party MNS. The relationship between the two was not good then.

Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray held a rally on ‘Marathi Ekta’ in Mumbai on 5 July at Worli Dome in Mumbai, amidst the ongoing controversy over Hindi in Maharashtra. On this occasion, there were indications of doing politics together further by both.

Raj Thackeray had said, ‘I said in my interview that Maharashtra is bigger than the quarrel. After 20 years, we have come on a platform, you are looking. There is only Maharashtra and Marathi agenda for us, there is no political agenda.

At the same time, Uddhav had said- ‘The distance between us, which Marathi has removed everyone, looks good. In my view, our coming together and sharing this stage is more important than our speech. ‘ Now know how there was a split between Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray

In 1989, Raj Thackeray was the President of the Shiv Sena Student Wing, Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad at the age of 21. Raj was so active that within 6 years from 1989 to 1995, he made countless tours of every corner of Maharashtra. By 1993, he associated millions of youth with himself and Shiv Sena. As a result, Shiv Sena’s strong ground network stood in the entire state.
