In the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, the Meghalaya Police has recovered the second weapon used in the murder. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Meghalaya Police investigating the murder brought all the accused of the murder, including the wife of Raja Raghuvanshi, about 65 km from Shillong and recreated the crime scene amid tight security. While recreating the crime scene on Tuesday, the Shillong Police questioned the accused about another weapon. During this, the accused told where they threw the weapon. After this, SDRF team and police reached the spot and successfully recovered the weapon.

Superintendent of Police gave shocking information

SP East Khasi Hills Vivek Sim confirmed the seizure of arms and said that this weapon was also used in murder. It has now been sent for forensic investigation. According to police sources, both the weapons used in the incident were purchased from the same shop in Guwahati, Assam. Let us know that after the police recreated the scene, the dreadful information about King Raghuvanshi murder has come out. District Superintendent of Police Vivek Sim told the news agency PTI, “The first war was carried out by Vishal while Sonam was in front of him. It was a big attack in which the accused used both hands. Then Anand did the second attack and the last war was done by Akash.” During this time the killers also told the SIT that they also used two knives.

What is King Raghuvanshi murder case?

Significantly, Sonam (25) and Raja (29) were married in Indore on 11 May and they reached Meghalaya on 20 May for a honeymoon via Guwahati, Assam. The two went missing a few hours after a check out from a homestay in Nongriot village in Sohra in East Khasi Hills district on 23 May. Later, the king’s body was found on 2 June in a valley near Wisavadong Falls. The search for Sonam continued. On 9 June, Sonam was arrested by police from Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh, about 1200 km from Meghalaya. The police then arrested Sonam’s lover Raj Kushwaha and the other three contract killers involved in the murder of Raja. Please tell that after the murder of King Raghuvanshi, Sonam reached Indore via Assam, West Bengal, Bihar and North Principal.
