Every day new revelations are being made in King Raghuvanshi murder case. The police has made another disclosure about Sonam Raghuvanshi arrested for murder of husband Raja Raghuvanshi. Sonam had made more than 100 phone calls to a person before marriage, later it was found that it was the pseudonym of her lover Raj Kushwaha ‘Sanjay Verma’. The police gave this information on Wednesday.
Call continued even after marriage
Last month, five accused, including his wife Sonam, have been arrested in the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi of Indore in Sohra in East Khasi Hills district. Vivek Sim, Superintendent of Police of Eastern Khasi Hills District (SP) Vivek Sim said, “We have come to know that Sonam had made more than 100 phone calls to a person named ‘Sanjay Verma’ before marriage to Raja. The call continued even after marriage.”

Police conducted a search operation in Indore to locate Sanjay Verma, whose phone was closed. Sim said that it was later revealed that ‘Verma’ is none other than Raj Kushwaha, who had conspired to kill his girlfriend’s husband.
Attempted murder three times
The Superintendent of Police also said that the killers succeeded in killing King Raghuvanshi on 23 May after three unsuccessful efforts. Earlier, the murder of the king was attempted near Guwahati, Nongriyat and Weisadong Falls.
Financial purpose check
Apart from the love affair, the police is now investigating whether anyone has a financial purpose with the death of King Raghuvanshi. A team of Special Investigation Team (SIT) is in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and is questioning some people, so that any possible financial motive can be detected behind the murder. (input language)
