Rajasthan Royals World Record: Rajasthan Royals defeated Gujarat Titans by 8 wickets in the Indian Premier League 2025 match played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday (April 28). Rajasthan has a third win in 10 matches and the team has reached number eight in the points table.
After getting the first batting invitation, the Gujarat team scored 209 runs at the loss of 4 wickets. In which captain Shubman Gill scored 84 runs and Jose Butler scored an unbeaten 50. In response, the Rajasthan team won by losing 2 wickets in 15.5 overs. In which 14 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 101 runs in 38 balls and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 70 in 40 balls.
With this stunning victory, Rajasthan’s team has won the world record. Rajasthan has become the fastest 200 plus score chase team in T20 history. Earlier in 2018, Sarre had chased 200 plus runs in 16 overs in the match against Middlesex.
Apart from this, Rajasthan has become the first team, which has chased a target of more than 210 runs in IPL four times. The team of Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad have done this feat thrice. Middlesex’s team has done this four times in T20 cricket.
